They just showed some decent coverage of drifting in America on Autoweek. by decent I mean they were referring to it as a true motorsport and anticipating it's growth in the future while reporting some semi accurate history and facts. One thing the guy said was that drifters use 240sx's and old corrolas because they're rear wheel drive, theres zillions of them all over the United States, and they're cheap. I thought that was pretty funny considering it takes months of searching to find a 240 for sale anywhere besides Socal.
There was a two second clip of the Signal drift twins for the preview, then some footage of the RS*R supra/ 350z, they showed that one super clean yellow s13 w/ silvia face a whole bunch.
it was pretty cool, but even as a drifting fan i thought it looked pretty boring. Drifting around a huge ring or parking lot is dumb and a waste of tires/ money in my opinion. It doesnt look impressive like drifting on a track.
anyways, try to catch it if you have Speed Channel.
