does anyone know if the apexi headgaskets are available for the s13 sr20det's anymore. Enjuku only has cometic and er spec i believe on their site. Do any of you guys have good luck with cometic? I have assembled a few race engines for my bikes and have had cometic gaskets not seal right from the get go.

Apexi- I use one on my built sr20det personally.
or Cosworth, both are good.
And i'm sure they still have the Apexi M.H.G just give them a call.

If you dont plan on decking the block to match the oil pump cover...stock HG with ARP studs are the way to go.

Then if you're set on running a MHG...Tomei or APex'i. Everything else sucks...

The oil pump covers on SRs are almost always a mm or 2 taller than the block. Designed that way to help seal the cover when you put the head on and dont leak between the cover and the head. Stock paper HG is soft enough that itll seal the difference between cover and block. MHG, not so much. Have a tendency to not seal the #1 cylinder if the front cover is too tall.
