okay so i bought a car a while ago and have had nothing but trouble, after alot of research the shop was able to tell me that it is a non turbo s15 motor and s15 non turbo ecu. now the car ran fine before it burnt a valve and now we had the head rebuilt and ready to go back together the problem is we cant figure out what tuner will work with this motor set up. as you know this motor has a distributer and the usaul sr has the crank angle so any advise would be great so we can get this thing finished and a tune in it that works. i would prefer the pfc but i have no idea PLEASE HELP!!!!:bash::bash::bash:

there is a t28 turbo setup on the car now and other minor mods, the shop doesnt want to put it back together untill this is figured out and i have waited so long already i haveto figure this out.

you definitely would have to use a turbo ecu. stand alone is probably the easiest. i don`t know if you can retune the stock ecu for a turbo set up. or you can switch to a regular sr20 det harness, ignition, and ecu for an s15 sr20det.

but the question is do i need to use a turbo s14 ecu and switch harness and replace distributer with sensor? or just pfc and harness?

I would not invest money in a PFC because there will be no return value, you will have a hard time trying to find a buyer for a N/A S15 PFC if they even make one.
Do you have the N/A Ecu to run the engine? I would remove the entire engine, transmission, ECU, harness- everything... sell it, and Replace with a real SR20DET engine. Those S15 N/A engines do not tolerate turbocharging very well. The compression is a bit high and most of them acquire damaged piston rings when used with a SAFC, which I would not recommend using because of the ignition/compression involved with that engine.
If you must run the engine I would run it naturally aspirated with the OEM ecu. That is the safest most reliable solution and you may enjoy the reliable vehicle for years.
