well, i talked to the person through PM who said the comment above and this is what was said

what did your comment mean on the sleeved sr thread it ment that what ever your smoking, smoke an other one cuz you could buy a block and head fully build and stroke it for 4,500 with VVT

well, i will try and be respectful, unlike you who feels like thread bashing...but do you have any experience in getting an engine fully built? i have built 4 sr engines and a couple RBs, and they are not cheap to build. just in parts, i have over 7k, so...maybe you are talking about a much lower quality build...the 7k doesnt include any machine work. also, mazworx is one of the most well known machine shops in the country because of the quality of there work. if you feel like like you can get an exact replica or better of this engine built with parts and machine work for 4500, go for it and good luck. i would love to see that.

anyone who has "FULLY" built an engine will know that it is not cheap and that this is a very good price. get a quote from mazworx or any other machine shop, you wont be able to get an exact copy of this engine made for anywhere near this price.

MODS, I apologize for the third post but i felt it was needed to explain what was being said about the price of the engine.

look at my build thread, it explains everything. I now have a Mazworx SR22VE-T

as requested, here is the link to the build thread- http://zilvia.net/f/chat/420428-imarvin240s-sr22ve-t-350z-time-attack-car-build.html

I would like to have your high paying job where you can get a mazworx standard SR built motor only to upgrade to an SR20VE-T from mazworx as well AND have it custom'd into a 350z shell.

That is actually a very good price for that build. GLWS

This build sounds like it has a lot of potential. What I don't get is why sleeve the block, then end up running stock size pistons?

whats the problem with running stock bore pistons? on my new engine, which i have a build thread on, i did go with a stroked sr22vet...but you can still make great power on stock bore, no real problem with it. here is the dyno sheet for what the stock bore sr made on 16lbs with a T67 turbo setup.

Sleeving the block is for strength/handles higher boost levels...not necessarily just to run bigger pistons, but there are useful to fix damaged bores..
Free bump for you...great looking engine...love those power levels

currently no one has put any money out for the engine, tons of interest though...but that seems to be the extent of it hah. this is a quality engine with low miles for a great price...pick it up!

last try to sell it...if it isn't sold by the end of March, its becoming a back up engine.

glws. Im doing the same type of build. I've got $8k in parts, and still have a few more things to get, plus the machining. I'll end up easily at $10k+
