Fixed the problem. Bought a new manifold

that's a terribly designed manifold, grinding down the master cylinder is a bad idea for one. for two, you will overheat your fluid, go to stop, wreck and possibly die seeing how it will be resting on it....you can't even fit a heat shield there, i would see about getting another manifold (looks like a cheap one anyways)

Yessirr JGS manifold will solve your problem... Also invest in a pre bent heat shield to keep the BMC from failing....

The JGS is kinda expensive for me right now. I'm just starting school so I don't have much money to buy a manifold like that at this moment. I was thinking of picking up the cx racing stainless steel top mount. Anyone have one of those?

the problem with the chinese manifolds is the flanges are usually off/not straight, causing leaks and lots of blown out gaskets. they're also thin/shitty metal and can crack/break. if you're on a budget, look into the mazworx diy log manifold. i can weld it for you, pm me if you're interested.

ya or get a cheaper manifold and have someone weld braces on it to prevent cracking or save up a lil and get a nicer manifold or get the one cut and rewelded
