I have a few questions about the turbosmart boost tee and only this boost controller,It seems backwards compared to other MBC ive used (but I usually use ball and spring type), ok when I turn it clockwise it loosens up and can be dis assembled as for turning it counter clockwise tightens it up,it would seem the tighter the more boost but in this case I read its the opposite? When you loosen it up "clockwise" it turns the boost up and visa versa is this true?It just seems odd since its usually "tighten" means increased boost with the MBC's I use I just dont want to fully tighten it and find out I'm running 20psi right off the bat so let me know anyone that owns one how they set it,also how sensitive are they,is it about 1 full turn is 1 psi increasements?I know every car and setup will yield different results but I could compare and get a ruf idea if someone is using there's on a stockish redtop sr,Also reading the manual it says if your turbo setup is sensitive it may boost spike and to prevent boost spikes remove the ball and spring from the bottom middle of the tee that supposed to bring boost on strong and increase boost response ,Did anyone have spiking issues and remove theres? Is it safer to remove it and if boost doesnt come on strong initally then re add it? I'm just very cautious when it comes to these things I would hate to damage my motor from somthing so simple and easy to prevent.
