Your going to DD12 instead of Thunder Hill... Most people from North Cali are gonna be at Thunder Hill dude... Aren't they on the same weekend.

Yeah they're on the same weekend... but some people would rather go to DD12. Hahaha... most people will be going to THill from the bay... but it's going to be crowded and not much of a track day... did you see how many people are going to drive that day. I don't care how many run groups they have or how cheap it is... there won't be much track time for the drivers.

I dunno. We really can't say that until we test it out. We have to give it a chance. There might be a chance that you are wrong and it is a great event. Or there is a chance it's gonna be a crappy event.
Give it a chance and find out. There will always be another DD event.

I won't be driving. I wanna feel it out first. I don't wanna spend 160 bucks for something I won't enjoy. If it's kewl, I'll get in on the next one. My brother will be driving though.

No way to "get a feel" if you're not in the seat driving. THill is a great track!!! Very fun... plus $160 is one of the lowest you'll find for something like this.

honestly i couldn't care less about DD12 or the Thunderhill event...they are both going to be overcrowded, with a dissapointing amount of drive time...if i had to do one, i would do Thunderhill, just because i prefer driving on a track, especially one i have never run at before, as opposed to cone dodging in a parking lot...
this, however, is neither here nor there...lol...
i just need a ride to LA..completely independent of said events..
i just thought there might be a chance that someone from up here was going down for the weekend, because of the event, so i figured i'd post it up..:)..

IIRC the Drift and Grip groups will be on different secions of the track.
And you're probably going to be better off if you're running in the "Grip" section since there's probabyl gonna be less people...
Anyway, I don't see any other NorCal events so I'll take what I can get.
And at least we're on a track and not cone dodging... count your blessings. We'll see how it is in a week or two. :P
