Hey guys.. i just have a quick question. One of my fuel injectors went bad and my car was running really bad and the engine was misfiring really bad. so i had my mechanic change that one fuel injector. Now my car is running better but got a slight hiccup when on idle or sometimes my car would hesitate when accelerating from anywhere around 1k till 2.5k (especially when the engine is cold). So i was wondering is it because i didnt change all the fuel injectors thats causing this or is it because the fuel injector that my mechanic put on is a wrong kind or could it be something else? i just want my car to run properly again and not bog anymore. thanks!

Sounds bad. Haha, well first things first. What kind of car do you drive? What motor is inside? Anything aftermarket?

ohm all of your injectors out, they should ohm out to aprox. 11 (10.6-11.4) ohms, if its over or under they are bad you have to have them at about room temperature btw

Does the engine shake excessively at idle? That would indicate if an injector is possibly bad. If so, pull the spark plug wires until one of them does not change the shaking, and that will be the cylinder with the bad injector. Other than that make sure your plugs are good as well. Pull them all and check for a good indication of operation such as the electrode being slightly grey and dry. I've gone through two bad injectors this year so these are some things I did to make sure of what was going on. And while your at it, take off your cap and rotor and check for any excessive wear or dirtiness, and clean em up.

umm before my car shaked really bad.. it even broke my engine mounts. but i got the fuel injector and the engine mounts replaced, but when i switched it.. its started running really weird.. it would hesitate alot when its cold. Really bad on first gear. but when it warms up.. then you could only feel it if youre looking for it. but my idle has hiccups.
