I got a single cam 240sx. My car was running great and then about a week ago. it would't start like it had no fuel. My fuel pump and alternator fuse was blown. I replaced both and still no start. I replaced the fuel pump with a used one and it started right up. The car would wanna die though so I had to keep my foot on the gas. I doubt the fuel pump is bad cause it ran fine in my friends car before he went walbro. Now my car when it's cold or warm when you first start it, it starts right up hen wants to die. eventually after keeping your foot on the gas it will idle normal. 1st gear it goes through all the rpm's fine no bogging. 2nd gear it goes through all rpm's fine with a little hesitation, then 3rd gear and all after that it bogs and has hesitation under heavy acceleration. I did codes on my ecu and it says bad speed sensor and maf. I checked the back of my ecu and the black ground wire for the maf is melted and corroded. I checked my mac connector with a multimeter and the ground is good and all power is there. Plus if the maf connection was bad wouldn't it not be able to go past like 3,000 rpm's? I pulled the plug off the maf while it was running and the car died so I guess it's good. Any ideas? I just got a ecu harness with connector that i'm gonna put on to replace the melted wires and I got a ecu so i'll see if that changes anything

it sounds like you already found the issue. The maf is probly sending messed up signals and makeing the car run lean.. try to get acess to a fuel pressure gauge and check the pressure while you drive.
Also check your timing and spark plugs.
