Hi guys.... a friend from Rep. Dominicana comes to Ecuador to tune some cars... he tuned my car with NISTUNE at 20 psi and the car was a beast.... He returns to his country and sent me the image. and when I upload this image started my problems....

At iddle the 14.5:1 in the wideband turns to 9.5:1... the car fail... and want to turn off itself.... I needed to press a little the throttle...
but I can see that in the fuel and ign map reads at idle RPM... columns like when the boost gauge read Zero vacuum or 2 to 4 psi

We thought that the Q45 MAF was damaged for any reason and we installed the OEM S14 MAF and change the MAF in the nistune... but have the same problem....

We check continuity from the MAF's conector to the ECU and was ok
No air leaks
ok oil pressure

Today I installed the Z32 MAF and change the MAF in the nistune and have the same problem
Do you think that the ecu was damaged or the nistune board was damaged?
I tried with my friends image and with the stock S14 SR20DET image... changing the 3 MAFs but have the same problem....

the consult display show DTC AFM with the 3 MAFs.... and the 2 images.... I clear the DTC and appears again the DTC AFM

I have another S14 ECU and tomorrow we'll try installing the board on this... if you know what could be the problem... please help me.. thanks!!!

Check your mafs wiring. If you can verify the mafs works on another car without codes. Or even Ecu and mafs on another car.

thanks!
today we installed the nistune type3 into another S14 SR20DET ecu and had the same problem...
tomorrow we'll check the complete harness...
Pete From PLM said me that at idle the maf should be read between 0.8 and 1.0 but with a multimeter and in the consult display from the nistune the maf reads 1.15

Did you check the ecu in another car? How did you test the wiring? If all you checked was continuity to the signal pin, you may have missed the fact that it is also running to ground.Test the signal wire against chassis or ecu ground or both. Your should verify that the ecu works, mafs works and wiring is good. If they all check out you should have no problems. So what's not right? The ecu is detecting something is wrong! Take a look at the mafs hot wire element. Also let me know how you wired the mafs.
