I have build an sr that should make decent power up top but what Im really after is stupid fast spool to boot. I am going to run a SP quick spool valve on my custom twin scroll t3 2871r .82 and it isnt going to work with the treadstone log......... Logs are typically what people use with quick spool valves but im starting to think about going against it. I can build a log, but im thinking I may not want a log after all.

So I have noticed there are actually VERY FEW decent manifolds to choose from and I dont see how this can be! I can see a decent one from blueridge and one from mazworks. I believe peak boost and full race are twinscroll and I cannot run one of those with the quick spool valve. With that said I highly doubt everyone has chose from those 2.

Are you guys having them custom built, is every one running ebay specials? I dont feel like spending $100 on a mani and having to replace it every 2 months.

Please let me know what you have, any complaints you have, and how long you have had it.

I run a single scroll PeakBoost, however they are out of business. No complaints really other than I should've went TS.

Yep, owner was into some shady shit... Filed for bankruptcy and there they go. As it drew near to the end of the company, people were getting screwed out of money, paying for a product and not recieving it, etc, etc.

Next manifold is a TS FullRace though for sure.

Have you checked out some of the new manifold makers? There's a few sponsors that make manifolds for us. Doc something is the name.

Why not go T2, use an OEM exhaust manifold? You are capped around 380-400whp, generally, but the spool will be decent and there is less chance for parts failure, and its cheaper.

If you want stupid fast spool just blatantly increase displacement. Install an LS-1 with any cheap 60-1 and have 500ft.lbs of torque from idle-redline.
if you are on a budget use an old 5.7 from a 1992 chevy van, install a carb and a roots style blower, same thing as the LS-1 just bad fuel economy.

plenty of ways to get stupid fast spool :D

Ive already been t2 and surpassed the hp numbers your talking about on a 2871r.

Now Im using a 92x90 sr 2.35L 10:1 compression. Have a t3 twinscroll .82 housing for the 2871r, quick spool valve, gtir exhaust cam and high port ser intake cam.

You realize that in a thread where Im asking what turbo manifolds people are using you just went way off topic and suggested I run a 350 from a 92 van and put a carb and blower on it? Also last time I checked turbo ls-1s dont make 500lb ft at idle.

I suggest you not post. Your the guy that told me I should quit using a dyno to tune cars and start using the street right? Better results or something?

I was initially considering Peakboost as well on my SR but since they closed Neukin sells practically the same thing for decent price. I ended up just staying T2 TD06SL2 it was good enough.

Neukin Nissan SR20det Turbo Manifold (http://www.neukin.com/Neukin_Nissan_SR20det_Turbo_Manifold_p/neukinnsrtm.htm)

seriously? if you're not going to contribute in this thread, get out. makes sense?
always has to be some lame fuck trolling. i'd understand if it was a stupid thread, but really? to someone who builds/tunes engines?

Check out future fabrication. I got a sweet dual gated twinscroll manifold off them. Guy who sells them here goes by username 1quick240. Here is a (phone) picture of mine before install. Keeps ps/ac and guy shipped it quickly and was packaged good. Good luck.

I have a custom topmount tubular t3 manifold made of schedule 10 304SS 1 1/2" ID tubing, ported exhaust flange matched to det gasket, Its a hand made manifold, smooth 4-1 304ss collector, flanged for tial 38mm wastegate. Great flowing manifold and will work very well for your setup. I have one interested in it right now but havent recieved payment for it. If your interested hit me up. You wont find a better deal on a solid built tubular manifold anywhere. Not some ebay cheap thin wall manifold, real deal Heavy Duty manifold.

There are lots of options for tubular manifolds out there as well, you just have to look around. Full race, DOC, Blueridge, and many others.

I went to their site but didnt see them for sale, just a picture of it as a project that they had. I may give them a call, but how much did you pay for that one?

I seen yours and was very interested in it. The thing that turns me off on it is the turbo pedistol seems to be rotated the wrong way. It will turn the turbine outlet directly to the BMC on a rwd car.
