I'm just curious if anyone knows how I can obtain a set of these rims. I'm looking for an online source (website) or someone that can import these. I'm well aware these will cost money, but once again I'm just curious.

Called them tonight, they said they will ship it to me. I'm going to call them tomarrow and find out how much it is. Would you guys like me to try asking about a group buy?
edit: by "them" i mean Great Company.

I'd be in for a group buy :)
here is the response I got from touge factory for 4 wheels only
Hi, Ian
We can import those wheels for you, but please understand that we dont
usually deal with private companies in small orders.
$380 per wheel for 17
$490 per wheel for 18
This is for Gunmetal. This price includes shipping, taxes, duty fees,
documentation fees, etc from Japan. There will be additioal domestic
shipping fee from our warehouse.
Thanks

380 per wheel
HAHA
damn that's alot
what a ripoff.
consider this:
$490 times 4 = 1960 dont forget to add their warehouse fee and shipping
for about 300 dollars more, you can have REAL R34 GTR wheels.
think...

hey if you like getting raped on pricing, more power to you
you see the retail on them?
18" 25,000 Yen=235 USD (non chrome)
17" 20,000 Yen=188 USD (non chrome)
you dont mind paying such a HUGE markup? your paying $200 dollars OVER retail for each wheel! and that's a 'group buy'?
your paying 800 dollars extra. now if i were you, i'd put that money for the wheels in one account, $800 extra you WOULD have spent on the so called 'group buy' towards the 'trip to japan' fund and after a few months buy them in person! and bring them back! not only will you have more fun but you could probably get lucky and score some other sweet car parts

a trip to japan would be sweet
misunderstanding there those are not group buy pricing just for a set of 4. the price would have to be a lot better for me to order as your right the pricing is very high

yeah i hope it will be better! that is A LOT to payfor wheels
and they arent 1/2 as nice as they were before the change. the older series (first) was MUCh more similar to the GTRs
but the newer series is nice because more offset choices, which s great.

A group buy would be nice.

at least they look sweet. there's a work logo on the banner at the top of the page . . . how is Great Company associated with work?

the old model (no longer availalbe) was ...hmm off memory
think real R34 GTR without the center caps
i think maybe had some legal issues? no idea. but its was true knockoff style...sooooo similar haha
the new ones are 'tweaked' of sorts. and i dig the chrome ones. haha

I was actually thinking about brining in a few sets but I wasn't sure if there would be a worthwhile market. May have to do that soon.
