No break lights issue! 90 240SX please help!

Hey , guys I've been having this issue for a while and now I really need to get this fixed since there's possible job opportunities coming up. My parking light works when I turn in on at the steering wheel column , but when I'm steeping on the break pedal the break lights doesn't come on. I've checked the fuse on the lower bottom driver side panel and the fuse is fine I'm getting power there but at the switch it self I'm not getting any power I even tried jumping the red red/yellow wire where the switch is there's still no light. Also already changed the switch it self and still now go.


My question is since I'm getting power at the fuse panel could I just wiring it up straight to the break switch plug and then just plug up the switch?

also there is another plug right next to the break switch that I noticed...and the button on it is not engaging the pedal in anyway ..what the hell is that?
