ok so im swapping out the KA to a RB25 on my S14 but before i buy the complete motor and tranny i was wondering how would the RHD wiring harness work for LHD...sorry if it's a dumb question or whatever but this is my first swap. Thanks

Just send in your harness to wiring specialities or chase bays, they make it so that it's plug and play and save you time and worries

yeah i have been doing some research and what i've seen is that rarely anyone has any problems with rhd harnesses fitting into lhd cars thanks guys ill shall post pics up of the swap pretty soon coming feb-march lol

Most folks rarely have any problems because they let professionals do their harness. You'll send them your stock KA harness and your RB25 harness. They will splice the KA connectors and make the changes to the RB25 harness to make it work with your LHD car. All you'd have to do is plug in the harness and it should be good to go.

The RB swap is not that complicated. Similar to an SR swap. 95% of RB engines are RHD so any info you research will be fine. You just need to extend a few wires...
just my 2 cents coming form someone who doesn't like to spend money if i can do it my self.

only thing is that the KA harness is all freaking mickey moused so thats the only problem...easy fix would be to buy a new harness (ka) then send the RB and the New KA harness to get matched up

I'm not too sure but I think all they need is a few plugs from your ka harness.. So the hacked up one should be fine

You don't have to send it in you can just buy the rite harness from frsport or wiring specialities you just have to call and let em kno what fuse box u got in your 240 so you get the right one and just rember if your gunna do work to the engine do it b4 you drop it in cuz its easer to work on good luck on ur build
