i have 6262 custom manifold 44 mm tial waste gate enthalpy ecu. it holds a steady boost until like 5500 then it creeps about 5 psi. i tried a new waste gate didnt do anything tried running one vacuum line to the waste gate didnt work . i dont understand wtf could cause this . the only other thing it could be is the manifold but i doubt its that cause when i first put it on it never did this. any ideas?

sticky wastegate?

While there are many reasons on what creates creep in manifold design, a tial 44 should never EVER creep, even in a shitty location.

You do have the bottom port hooked up to a boost/pressure source correct?

lol i tried a brand new precision 44mm waste gate did the same thing. Normaly i have the tap off the turbo hooked right to the bottom port of the waste gate. But i tried running one line from my intake manifold to my waste gate sill didnt work. and even at 10 psi it still went up to like 15-18 psi

You might have a fueling problem / ignition problem ... not enough advanced timing / a little leaner than needed cause more boost to build. Your boost creep might be a symptom for something else. Do you have a way to monitor your AFR ?

it still looks strange though, on a 44mm ... Are you sure your boost line is not leaking /cracked ?

yes i have a aem wide band and i havent changed my tuned ecu lol and yeah ive cheack the lines for leaks.

By bottom you do mean the fitting (in your situation) closest to the manifold correct?

Another thing, but the wastegate does have a spring in it right?

ahahah yes i have the boost line hooked up to the bottom of the waste gate and yes it has a spring it in lol a 14psi spring i think.

I know that may have sounded super silly for me to ask those questions, but sillier things have happened in my time...and those sort of things are usually overlooked as well take them for granted ahaha. I recently had a DSM kit come over with his Tial 38 installed backwards...and I'll be honest with you it took some time before even I recognized that (seems to easy to spot, but when you're thinking of everything else it was somehow hidden right infront of mehaha)
