Fuel pump doesn't turn on, when I connect terminal to battey, the egi relay clicks once, he egi pump relay does not. This would mean the pump is not properly grounded correct? I have swapped relays and got the same result. Sparks are wet with gas from the assumed remaining fuel in the lines.
Any help, flaming, criticism is appreciated.

Try a different ecu
Wait if you hook the pump up to battery directly either the pump is not properly grounded or is shot. Could take the pump out and put + lead to the + battery
and ground to -.
Pump comes on- other issue
No pump- Pumps dead

Brand spankin new pump. New as in not even a week old.
The orignal pump wasn't turning on, me thinking it was shot, replaced it. New one, still no power.
Time to get a new ecu.
Now in the event that the ecu doesn't fix it, pump not grounded it is woohoo! Thank you

Check the to see if the ecu is sending out the ground signal to the relay. Or look for the pnk and black wire goining into the relay and ground it u should hear the pump come on

Assuming u checked the fuse

Yeah the fuse is dandy.
< electrical noob cake. How would I check to see if the ecu is sending a ground signal.
Also, I hear you can pop off the relay holster to check grounds, are there clips that hold it in place or screwed in?

To check wires, buy a test light, connect the little clip to a body ground, then pierce the wire's shielding with the probe so you can touch the copper wire with it... if the test light lights up- you have power, if it doesn't- you don't. IIRC the Fuel pump relay signal wire coming from the ecu is the black with a purple striped wire... it runs up into the engine bay all the way to the passenger side next to the battery, it's a little brown connector with a few other wires next to the gray one.
Yeah, I just had a similar problem with my SR swap. Here's what I did:
-Checked the fuse, good
-unplugged the blue connector by the pump and ran a switch and 15A fuse inline (positive from battery, negative to a ground) to it to see if the pump was working (blue/red is negative, white/purple is positive). worked.
-checked for continuity at that blue connector on both sides. no power.
-checked the pinout for my ecu. the wire was in the wrong pin.
It also turned out my pump was wired backwards. (I had blue/red as positive and white/purple as negative instead of the aforementioned other way around).
So all in all after all those tests I fixed it by rewiring the new pump's connector at the pump, and switching the signal wire to the right ecu pin location.
If all that doesn't work, First I'd try another ECU (I have a 92 KADE ECU for sale), then I'd look passed that brown connector into the chassis harness for a short somewhere. The signal wire changes color to either black/yellow or black/white, I don't remember for sure but you should be able to see what wire goes to what.
The fuel pump relay, "grounds out" the signal wire to turn the pump on. It's an ass-backwards wiring thing but that's just how it works.
Good luck. But keep in mind I'm not responsible if you fuck up your shit if you follow what I did. Not that it'll happen, but I'm just washing my hands of it if it does. It's all on you.
