does it only leak when running?
If so, then you might have a loose line at the tank.

Are you sure you installed the fuel pump correctly and you didn't damage anything?

It's maybe leaking from the fuel lines that connect to the fuel pump

The rubber hoses that connect to the pump start to rot. When you replaced the pump the return hose from the pump to the hard lines probably cracked/tore. This would explain why the engine still runs but you’re dumping fuel on the ground. If I remember correctly the rubber hose section is probably only about 12” long.

My bet is you didn't tighten down a connection at the fuel pump/tank fittings when you changed the pump out out...

Make sure the rubber seal is seated properly. Clean the threads on the cap and the neck, will help when you twist them back together.

I had this issue I think I put the seal on first then the line cap with a twisting motion... not 100% sure though

If you're trying to reuse the factory seal you're going to have a helluva time getting it right. Best option is to purchase a new seal from Nissan. Over time the fuel vapors seep into the seal and expand it, making it extremely difficult to reuse.
