I just bought a t25 off a guy from online. it has minimal shaft play and i can tell its in good shape for the compressor housing spings around on the center cartridge. i know there is a giant ass snap ring that holds the compressor on but is there anything else that should be on it that could make it stay still? the only thing keeping it from moving all over the place is the wastegate actuator.

so anyone else have this issue? whats wrong? can i run it like that?

i have the turbo bolted to the mani and outlet and its ready to go but before i install it i just wanted to check with the gurus on zilvia ;)

I wouldn't run it like that, there should be some bolts on the back of the compressor housing similar to this (http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/graphics/00000001/Catalog%20Images/Turbochargers/GRT-TBO-0371_450.jpg), they are going to hold the housing so it will not spin.

no there are no brackets like that on a sr t25... thats like a s15 turbo right there or the kouki BB t28.

idk what to look for at all. its pissing me off so much.
