ighhhht guys. i've searched up some reviews and got good and bad, but i would like to hear from some 240 people that actually ran them and not heard from them. i got a killer deal for a greddy boost controller that i almost can't refuse. practically brand new with all the hardware. its going to be running on my s14 sr20det with a nistune. yes i know the hks evc 6 are dope but cant afford it right now. so high boost at 16psi low 10psi. i keep hearing problems that people say it doesnt hold boost and have random spikes... others say its great but like i said most of what i heard were from evo guys. anyone have anything to say?

Once you learn how to set a Profec B Spec II up, it will serve you very welll. Sure it may not be the top of the line system, but for a simple and effective EBC you can't get much better.
I personally prefer the B Spec I and the Type S, as it's no nonsense, set the gain and set the boost style controller....but the Spec II is very similar, just takes some time to get accustomed to how it works.

Ive had this boost controller on all of my cars, its really a great & simple unit.
Here is a pretty good write up on setting it. Your buddies that claimed that it doesnt hold steady boost or it spikes probably have no idea how to tune it..

That really is the *only* guide to use on how to set those controllers up...I bet that thread is easily one of the most viewed ever on EvoM
