Well i doubt im the only one with this problem but it could get very annoying. Every time i press down on the clutch peddle is squeaks! My friend just got an s14 also and same problem. I tried to grease it up some but nothing. Where exactly is it coming from and what did you guys do to fix it?

Lithium grease spray, spray the springs and anything that you moves on the pedal bracket.

I dont htink thats it, they say its a bushing.

Dudes right...mine does the same thing..every now and then I just grease I up..slip n slide wet n wild..wham bam..fix

There a spring where the clutch pedal pivots. That's where it squeaks from. I took mine apart one time. Either replace that spring or make sure that plastic bushing is in there.
It's a blue bushing about the size of your pinky nail that's missing in your assembly.
I have the part, LOL never got around to installing it, so uhm yeah my pedal squeaks to.

it drives me off the wall. i threw a gallon of grease on there and it only stopped squeaking for a day.

Grease joints. or get a loud ass exhaust. haha.

I took my whole clutch pedal assembly outand made sure it was clean and applied lithium grease on all the little joints & spring.. Its been 6 months and not 1 squeak. :)

greasing is like putting a band-aid on a gunshot wound.
THERE ARE 2 ROUND BUSHINGS ON SIDE OF THE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY AND ONE HORSE SHOE SHAPED ON IN THE MIDDLE BEHIND THE SPRING.
TO FIX IT RIGHT YOU NEED TO REMOVE YOUR CLUTCH PEDAL ASSEMBLY AND REPLACE THESE,AND WHEN YOU DO, PUT GREASE ON THEM.
The squeaking is caused from the horseshoe bushing being broke and the metal spriing is rubbing against the pedal assembly, and the more you just lube it and not fix it the RIGHT way, you will just wear down the assembly, and when you decide to finally fix it, it will break right away, because the pedal assembly will have a gap between the spring and the pedal assembly that wasnt there causeing you to break through the bushing and causing squeeking again, if it is already worn down, you might have to weld some metal back there and grind it as close to stock as possible.
I will search for the part numbers now.

the bluish horse shoe number is 46534-35f10.
Im looking the other two up at the moment.

in the nissan diagram in the middle of the page you will see the numbers that I am talking about.
on the diagram it shows the part as 46525 which you need two of, and 46525m which is the horse shoe shaped one. If you call your local Nissan dealership, they will have these parts. Just tell them to look up the nissan 240sx clutch pedal assembly.

hahaha its cold i want my windows up :D and i have a dope exhaust but it doesnt hide the sound. im just going to spray up some of that lithium grease and see what happens. if not guess i have to take off the assembly re-grease everything and change out that spring. thanks everyone!

According to what i'm seeing, it looks like the pedal uses
46525N x2
46545 x1
and for the springs 46530e x2
???
I would love to fix the squeaky pedal, but want to order the correct ones.

This is literally the only thing wrong with my car right now... I hate it, its so much louder when its cold and goes away after about 20 minutes but still drives me crazy, not to mention i have to listen to everyone that gets in my car ask me what the sound is.

WD40 worked on mine for a week or so but it just started to come back. looks like ill just have to do it again seeing as im broke

i noticed a squeaking every time i pressed on the clutch pedal, but it wasn't my pedal, it was the throw out bearing arm that the slave cylinder pushes on, so i think that could also be it

definitely not the throw out bearing. i know mine is bad because it makes a whining noise and when i press the clutch it goes away. been like that for a while, its that stupid spring behind the clutch annoying the hell out of me!

bawz that could be because ur low on trans fluid..
and he said the throw out bearing arm, which is possible.
yes i have this and im going to use lithium grease for a minute then thanks for those part numbers i will fix it the right way!
