Well got some issues with my ride and hoping some SR pros can help me out, I wasn't able to turn up much with the search button...

First I think the car is running stupid rich, full throttle at 19psi my A/F is like 10.6, idle it's 12-13, and my egts are around 1200-1300 on WOT! Car seems to run fine but likes to die at idle not as bad when I run 110 octane! Took it to a local shop and they have the fuel pressure turned as low as it can go(not sure what it's at) they also dynod it and said it wouldn't make over 14psi cause the turbo was hitting the housing (it was not I checked and there is no play in the turbo) is it possible the fpr is no good it's just a cheap one it looks like? What are target A/F ratios?

I'm also getting an excessive amount of oil in catch can? Motor only has around 6k on it!

Motor and mods...
RedTop SR
HKS step II 264 cams
Stock bore and stroke
Crower springs
Greddy intake mani
Five-o 850cc
Custom bottom mount Mani
Greddy 18g
Tial 38mm wg
Enthalpy dual map ecu 110octane/91octane
No name fpr

Thanks in advanced

Excessive amount of oil...time to do a compression check. If you see anything less than 130 psi, time for a rebuild.

EGT...double check your base timing. CAS timing is probably too far advanced. Shoot it with a timing gun and it should be on the 2nd line from the right.

A/F...figured about 11.5 is good for a stock bottom end at WOT.

Fuel Pressure...take the vacuum line to the FPR, check your gauge and at idle, should be about 40-42 psi. You slap the vacuum line back in, itll drop down a bit to maybe 35 psi.

what maf are you using, it could be going out, causing the motor to run in safe mode.

but make sure everything mechanical is timed correctly first

And I will def be checking the other stuff, just figured this stuff would have been checked cause the shop I took it too is a very reputable shop or so I thought! Thanks guys!

Ok one more thing then ou say if comp is below 130 and the motor only has 6k on it was it just a bad build? When I had it apart doing the cams the cylinders looked great you could still see hone marks on the cylinder walls

Who knows...anything and everything could have caused it to have such a low compression. It could be bad from the get-go with a bad rebuild, engine didnt get broken in properly, a bad tune, consistently driving it with 1300 EGT where you could pretty much melt pistons with.

Ya I kinda figured that with the egt, I'm just used to my diesel truck egts are solid around 700-900 and only in WOT do they go over 1250 which is what I was told is the maximum safe number to run consistently

You want to keep your EGT around 800, no more 900 even with aftermarket pistons.
