Just surfing through the web and I happen to see some tomei arms turbo bolt on kit. They have two types of turbos, the m8270 and m7960. Its a direct bolt on for a sr20 and just wondering, has anyone used this?? Reviews about it, pros and cons, worth any, better off with something better??

Here's a video about it if not familiarized.

I know folks who've run apexi ones and they're fairly similar to the Tomei ones. But honestly, I was gonna say just stick with a GT2871R but after seeing how cheap the Tomei kit are now, I'd go with the M7960. This kit is cheaper than you trying to run a 2871 considering you'd spend atleast $1200 just on the turbo alone. You still need to buy things to make it work....

Okay it seems that this turbo is really good on the sr, depending on the setup. I was wondering can this turbo be used on a KA? The fact that it's a direct bolt on kit to an sr20 t25 manifold, which replaces the t25/t28 turbo. KAs have a t25 manifold and can anyone tell me if its possible to use this turbo??

Its a bolt on for an SR setup, so if you're KA-T is a replica of an SR setup (T2 flanged manifold and 5 bolt elbow) I dont see why not.

I did some research and there's nothing about tomei turbo and ka put together. I even asked Frsport, since they carry tomei, and they don't even know the possibility and the outcome because its only tested on Srs.

I know what you mean, because just by looking at some photos, the flange and the 5 bolt elbow for the 7960 and the t28/25 is similar.
