Hay guys
Being looking at this site for abit now and finally decided to sign up.
I'm eighteen years old and a couple months back brought a stock standard spec r s15, it was NZ new, i'm second owner and it has very low kms. It drives like a dream and am very happy.
so far I have brought some brand new bc red coilovers, wheel spacers, 17x8 drift teks( bit trashy but ill upgrade soon) and some locking wheel nuts. I have removed the spoiler and the black trim along the doors and the mudflaps. I have also ordered front and rear adjustable strut braces.
I was just wondering what sort of mods you guys recommend doing next, suspension wise I'm just going to get some aftermarket arms and bushes and some subframe locking collars.
Engine wise what do you guys recommend? I understand this sounds like a bit of a noob question as your just going to say things like intake, exhaust, fmi etc but coming from the experts what parts( brand and where to get them) do you recommend?
also any suggestions on a new set of wheels that would look good would be much appreciated.

I agree, stock S15 fuel pumps sucks. If you attempt to bump the boost on a stock Spec R, you'll hit fuel cut HARD!!! Pump, exhaust, test pipe, fmic, boost controller...in that order. Anything else after that, I'd consider changing to larger injectors (550s and up), Z32 MAF and a tune (PFC or rom tune).

'basic mods' is different for everyone you talk to. Most here are chasing Drift Dreams, or trying to be hella-flush. Find another s15 you like, with an owner that is doing the same type of driving you do, then copy.
edit: but yeah, fuel cut will limit any performance. I would suggust spending good money on wideband 02 and ECU first, but thats because its the 'overlord' to the whole operation. once again, it all depends on what YOU want.

Why the fuck would you want to do that when you have a 250hp stock turbo engine in there?!?! S15 Notchtops aint exactly a slouch like a KA...

intake, exhaust, boost controller up a little more psi. Should be plenty for a street car.
All in the suspension, and you will have fun. enjoy

HKS 264 cam's
HKS adjustable internal wastegate
255 LPH pump or a fuel pump froma Z32 TT
3 inch turbo back ( I have a megan elbow, option imports downpipe and a buddy club spec III exhaust and I love it )
PBM intake kit ( its the cheapest and works with S15 motors fairly easy )
Greddy profec spec B ( was a bit confusing at first but once I figured it out it was awesome to deal with )
B&M short shifter
I have Varrstoen ES2.2.2 rims and they look great. I had mine powdercoated white with metallic clear with rainbow flake. another good looking wheel you might be interested in is a SSR Professor in 18's

My suggestion is to paint that car a color that isn't visible from outer space. That
Thing is bright! Really though the basics are obvious and as someone mentioned completely personalized to YOUR driving. I'd do suspension first if it were mine. No point having a fast car that handles poorly.
