as the title says i swapped the harness now the car wont start. the harness i installed came off a manual sohc. my car was originally a manual. car ran before the harness was swapped mine harness just had a random short in it. i have fuel and it cranks everything works but im not getting spark. had spark before swap. swapped coil packs to see if its the coil pack. still no spark after dizzy or before dizzy. i have power going to the coilpack. the only thing i did to the harness was take my dash connector housing and pin the new harness into it. i noticed there were three wires that werent on the new harness that mine had. figured it was just because of the car originally being an auto. the wires were a green/red/ red/green and green/white. there were also two connectors up by the blower motor that the new harness didnt have. one was a blue/green single wire connector (a/c i think) and the other was like a 12 or more connector. figured it was a/c too. after it didnt start i tore down my old harness to see where those wires went and they splice in to a light green/black yellow/red yellow and black/ and a black wire. these wires ran to the ecu, the dash connector wires that werent on my manual harness and the tps (pigtail connector not the solid connector.) my thought is that these wires are for an auto set up. i was thinking i should splice all the missing wires into the new harness but i really rather not cut my new harness if i dont need too. if anyone has any idea or has ran into this the help would be greatfully appreciated i start a new job monday and need my car running.. post on here or txt me at 904 415 7879 names mike. thanks for the help in advance and happy holidays.

Codes are 13 21 and 41. 21 is probably because of not sparking.

Hey nomma. Did you ever get it figured out? I'm having the same issue in my '90 sohc. Car turns over, but no spark to the coil. Can't figure out if I missed a ground or what.

yeah the spark issue is from.the auto connectors behind the blower. i had to splice that whole circuot off my old auto harness. the single wirebconnector should be a blue wire is the atcu signal wire the rest on that big connector goes to the dash harness the ecu the tps the coilpack and the atcu. if the actu doeant have signal it inhibits the car from sending ground to the coilpack. so you have 12v all day long but no amps because of lack of ground. lemme know if you need anythong else
