Hello all currently I have an Isis intake mani on my Neo rb25 mostly stock just minor upgrades. And needless to say I'm not impressed with the performance. I know there better for high boost applications. So I'm going back to the stock intake for now but I want to make it front facing like the ones below. Now my questions are, I would assume you would still having the leaning issue in the 5th and 6th cylinder yes? Would I need to angle the tb in anyway like how an s14 sr's kinda points away from the motor to direct air towards the back cylinders more? Like the last pic
And if anyone has any experience with this type of mani could you post pics? And if you have dyno results + mods.

Thank you all for your help.

For the most part, I've seen straight on mounted TBs with no angle. No clue how it affects the #6 cylinder, most folks does it just to simplify the damn piping and get rid of the stupid cross piping.
This is one of the guys in Oki with an RB25 in a Cefiro...guy beat the shit out of the car on a regular basis with a Greddy TD06-25G. Have not had any leaning out issues and have been running this setup for a while now.

Thanks Sileighty_85 (http://zilvia.net/f/members/sileighty_85.html) I looked for a thread like that but didn't really know how to word it. I see there is some science behind angling it. Should I angle it towards the runners or the flat side? I wish someone computer smart could make a flow chart like those sr pics also wish I could read Japanese I take it those dyno graphs show that there was almost no difference in power? I'm gonna try with my q45 tb. And fliprayzin240sx (http://zilvia.net/f/members/fliprayzin240sx.html) pic links don't work. Could you redo that?

Anybody else have any ideas about angling it? I'm wanting to do it next week.

i know most front mounted intakes are angled twards the ports i know the greddy and stock rb26 are the same dont know why they are but under boost it should level out on all ports none should go lean on a aftermarket short runner intake i can see that on ur stock long runner intake that might be the case but im not sure about the angle affecting it much sence ur runners are not facing in so u wouldnt get a streight shot on the runners no matter how u angle it.
