Not sure if this is worth making my own thread about so close it if you wish.
I threw on my blitz wheels 17x9j and 18x9j but I don't think they look good on my car. I need your opinions.
Is it just the silver wheels on white paint? or would a body kit help pull off the style? I can't put my finger on it and maybe its just me but I can't get use to them :/
I know I need to drop it and get rid of the rake, but I don't think I'm pulling them off right, what do ya'll think my car is missing??

The car would look much cleaner with the front plates back to it's original location.
Your car is fine with the Blitz 03, source out a K's Aero along with sides and rear valance.

dished wheels in general look better with body kits
however if you increase the camber all around and lower it some it should look way better
fender to wheel gap kills lots of cars its the ugliest thing

More low + OEM aero would work wonders.

thx for the replies
I do own the oem sides and rear valances along with a roof wing, I'll install those soon.
soap I've worked pretty hard to get the rear's at 0* its so nice to slide all day and have even tire wear. When I low down the rear I'll probably pull the fender more to keep 0* camber. also the front are maxed prob -3 to 4* up front.
would you recommend mothers aluminum polish on the lips? not sure what type of polish to use

Shit, I'd keep the ride height the way it is. Anything less and you'd hate daily driving that shit around Oki. Remember, parking lots sucks. Narrow ass entrances and tall ass entries. Just think of the entrance to get into Obligato or Ramen place next to it...alot of parking lots in Oki are like that.
Personally, I think its clean the way it is. S13 Silvia's are getting rarer and rarer nowadays.

the zero camber thing kills me you should really reconsider this even tire wear thing and plus 0 isn't exactly good for drifting -1-2 is ideal if you REALLY care about tire wear something you don't experience on a daily basis vs walking up to your car everyday and trying to pick up high school girls. i run a lot of camber and i just flip the tires. please don't pull the fenders they're minty

This. Ride height looks fine to me man for some of these janky ass Oki roads.
I do like how some the other wheel have the gold centers, that'd be a nice touch against a white car. Unless you just don't like them and are looking to sell.............................

I think the thing thats wrong with it is the staggered 17/18 sizing. The look is not for everybody. How it looks depends on who's looking at it. Some folks like it, some folks dont. I'm one of the latter, think it looks retarded. Nino tried to do the same thing on his 180sx a while back with some AVS Model 5, it didnt look right.

if you have 18's in the back you should be tucking rim.. just my opinion...

Don't rape the body. I think it looks good as is. I grew up on muscle so I'm ok with rake and it doesn't look totally outta place here. OEM aero is the only suggestion I got if you don't like it. But, looks fine imo

Or. You won't when you high center trying to pull up to your local ramen joint or you're stuck in traffic because you can't take that slightly hilly shortcut.
I agree it'll look good though.

i daily my car eveyrwhere i only got stuck once and it was in my driveway because of open diff... car was teetering on the frame rail had to have someone sit on the trunk to keep the wheel down
BUT my car is like 5x lower so no excuses

Scratch Tori Station's main gate and Camp Courtney's Pizza House gate off the list of places you can go thru. It's always fun going up into the Bullring on a super low car...:l101:

But where at? I'm not disagreeing that the car would look better by going lower, but I don't see the allure of having a bashed up underbody and beat aero (if he does go that route, which I think at the very least OEM aero would look great) just to please the internet crowd instead of having a clean ass car, especially on an island full of ones that're ragged out.
His choice though in the end, so my opinion means zilch. Maybe I'm just acting like an old ass man, I used thing it was cool to drag exhaust everywhere, but I shit bricks when I drag my FD on stuff now.
Scratch Tori Station's main gate...
If that's the one I'm remember right, I definitely go at that one at an angle from now on. :bite:
Hell I 3 wheel it up my parking space and get stuck for minute spinning tires if I don't go fast enough.

Ray I totally know what your talking about but honestly the car only gets driven to the flight line, hobby shop, and drift spots. we take the wifeys car out for ramen :) and all the street spots except for Enobi are driftable in slammed cars...dude your 14's front bumper was barely an inch off the ground haha.
and Lonestar I've been wanting to make the car low down for awhile so why not, def not a show car so i could care less about scratches on the rails and exhaust, worrying about dents and stuff will only hold me back from getting better at driving. oh ya when your 3 wheeling it just hold your ebrake :)
I'll post some low down pics and video of the blitz sliding later

Didn't know you drifted it too, from the pictures it looked really clean. Then lower on I say! I secretly wish I could get back into drifting, especially out here, but my wallet would never handle it.

F U...dont talk about Ramen, specially if you're talking about the shack ramen behind Jusco's parking lot. I miss freakin Tondou's Tonkotsu ramen like crack cocaine!!!

I mean I guess what I'm trying to say is... yes driving around a low car is sketch at times but after you've driven one for a while you get used to it and its not such a big deal as people on the internet make it out to be
my frame rails are all scraped up and what not but who cares its not hurting anything
if you know your area you know which roads to avoid... a couple minutes out of your way is worth it in my opinion ... i would not enjoy my car as much as i do if it was an inch higher... i just like the look of a low car

i get what your saying, even though im not tucking or even close i still scrape everywhere and have to drive cautious/avoid certain roads. its no biggie and you defiantly get use to it.
so i did max out my coils even with the collar removed it barely changed anything :/
im going to try and raise up the bottom like im raising the ride height and then lower the spring down to see if that lowers the car where i want it...might ride shitty tho i have no idea

This is like the 2nd A's Almighty I have EVER seen.
Ryan, wheels look good how they were today. Just need to spend some time TLC'n them up yo. You NEEEEEED the different aero bumper with all the valences and shit...same shit I tell Tony (Rekluz). I wouldn't lower the car anymore man it really sucks ass. Right now I can go ANYWHERE in the c33 and I'm lovin it, but I will go a tad bit lower since im still at JCI height.
Ray you are the only one in the entire world that thinks Model 5s are ugly lol...but they are on their way out and got some Courages to take their place.
even though im not tucking or even close i still scrape everywhere and have to drive cautious/avoid certain roads.
that's not saying much though, my white 14 sat higher than almost everyone's and even I scraped half the places I went. You don't have to be low to scrape in oki. But you know my opinion about your car, plus , don't you still have the track car? Beat that one and keep this one nice. :)

lol i know what you guys are saying but l don't really care about driving slow daily as long as i can still slide the local spots and bokujo. anyways my coils are pretty much maxed out so I probably can't go lower until I get new springs ugh.
here's some gopro footage pointed at the front wheels today.

cool video man glad to see you drive the thing like it should be
i'd say pick up some shorter swift springs and in a higher rate it will help the undercarriage from bottoming out
your cheaper option is to droop the springs you have now or cut them because coilover springs are linear and it won't affect their rates when cut

I don't even give a fuck about scraping shit anymore in a lowered car. I got stuck with my open diff the other day since I took out my LSD, just reversed and drove straight as fast as I could. Scraped up everything but no fucks were given

Thanks man, theyre starting to grow on me more everyday. Does anyone know if 65mm or 60mm ID lowering springs will fit on a 62mm spring perch? I read megan coilovers are also 62mm and people were fitting 65mm springs on them but im not sure if the greddy type s coils will fit another size spring?
