so general consensus seems to be that the Corbeau I just got isn't going to fit very well in my car, seat fitment thread seems to be pushing me to get something that can be side mounted

I got the seat for ~$50 in a trade to a friend, so I was looking for a low cost seat bracket solution

I have:
-sliders that are on the seat
-a miata seat bracket that fits the seat, but obviously not my 240
I know that it is bottom mount only and people seem to have height issues with the seat. I am 5' 10" and I would like to stay as far away from the roof of the car as possible

Does anyone have a corbeau in their 240? If you do, how did you fit it? Any pictures?(to show fitment or install)

Unless someone who actually has a corbeau or did have one in their 240 can suggest a seat bracket to me for under $100 that won't make me sit next to the ceiling, I'm probably going to give up OR get a welder

On that note

Can anyone suggest a good welder to start learning on?
I want to be able to do things like brackets, exhaust, floor pans(for a different project). I don't really care about having pretty welds either, i purely want functionality.

Thanks,
Dan
