I was installing my HID kit tonight, and am trying to decide where would be a good clean place to mount the ballasts. It's a s13, but any pics would help. If you could post pics of your engine bay/wherever you mounted them that would be appreciated :wavey: Thanks!

Personal preference bro..you want clean look ..hide then underneath the engine bay..if not just place then in the engine bay

Away from water and near the headlamps.

Yea I was just looking for inspiration for clean installs. Anyways if anyone searches this thread heres how I did mine.

For the battery side I made a ground about the wiring harness and ran the wiring to the driver side in front of the radiator so it isn`t visible in the engine bay. I mounted the ballast against other wiring that was already there and the other box thing up under the fender with the double sided tape provided. Just use alcohol to clean it up nice and it should stick well.

Driver side I used a hole that was already there (bottom right of the pic) for the ground, and mounted it in front of the hot pipe.

So with the battery back in you can hardly see the one ballast and all wiring is pretty much hidden.

Glare city, glare, glare city.
