doing my rb26dett swap, everything is going good. i'm repinning my wire harness because the main connector (one that plugs into ecu) split in two. i pulled one off a Z32,there exactly the same.
ok, my question is about the stock boost solenoid. i want to get rid of it, but i'm wondering if it will pull a code if the ECU doesn't see it. from what i understand the solenoid will automatically open at 15 psi. i have a AEM tru boost that runs its own solenoid. any info would help, i don't think it's a big deal but i want to know before i remove it. i'm trying to thin down my engine harness as much as possible. anything not needed is gone. thanks for your time
