what would cause my wideband to always dip rich.
i have a s14 with a rb25det series 2 inside..
i mean not even in boost it shows like 11.7 to like 10.1 sometimes 9.0's
Any suggestion would be helpful to check thank you

Does it dip rich while you are doing any kind of accelerating? It sounds like a boost leak but you haven't really given enough information..

yes when i push the gas it starts to go rich...

What's the tune? Modifications? Fuel pump? FPR? Vacuum leaks? Etc etc...

i guess you can name all the things that you think would cause it to be dipping rich in acceleration? I can go check all of that...

its running 10lbs on a safc2
i have a walbro 255lph running into the stock fpr.
would a faulty fpr cause it to do that?

How does it run on the factory ECU? That is, without the SAFC. While the SAFC will not inherently cause it to run poorly by being installed, it can certainly leave itself as the culprit of all sorts of wacky stuff if you have it adjusted (to say tuned would be laughable) incorrectly.

Basic troubleshooting...
Think of it like a research project you are assigned in school...research research research...you don't just ask the teacher for the answers ya know?

Yeah it sounds like you have a boost leak.. try making sure all of your couplers are on right and tight or do a boost leak test..

Thank will do that.
If u can think of anything else I'll try it, other then that like it was said "research"

forgot to mention, when i shift between first and second sometimes the car also backfires.
Oh and when my friend tuned car, in order to get it to run not as rich, he has my fuel curves on the safc2 in the negatives.
I have couple of curiositys what it could be, lmk what you guys think if any of these could be the corprits?
1. FPR
2. Injectors
3. maf
4. bad ecu

-Take out SAFC
-Run Stock Tune, with stock injectors, and stock maf and all that stock happyness
-Recirculate the BOV
-Check for proper timing
-Check for vacuum leaks
Then report back.

normaly a bad fpr will cause low fuel pressure (lean) so not likely that unless its clogged. it can be as said above boost leak, timing, or maf, not likely injectors because (normaly) they get clogged and go lean have u pulled ur plugs and looked at them? have u checked ur wideband to make sure its reading properly?

also if you have larger than stock injectors and the tuner input wrong data as far as injector lag time

thanks.
I have stock injectors.
okie i will try put everything back to stock

injector(s) stuck open, bad O2 sensor, and vacuum leaks are the first things I'd check for.
