View Full Version : Just bought my first car, '93 S13

On the 19th, I bought a 93 S13 with only 95K miles for $1600. Its a maroon hatch, auto tranny, no sunroof or rear wiper. In the past few days, I've gutted the catalytic converter, waxed it a few times, put new rear brake pads on, and found a right rear brake leak at.The copper crush washers that fasten the brake line to the caliper. And I rebuilt the right caliper thinking that it was leaking from the piston. Today im hoping to flush the coolant, clip the ires for sleepy eye, and buy some new crush washers to fix the leak.

Hehe just bought it..and already fixing shit..the good ol days..haha had mine for 6years and I'm still fixing this shit lol

haha, but for $1600 and only 95K miles it was a great deal. So id say its worth the maintenance right off the bat

keep up the good work man. It's good to hear your fixing up the problems first rather than throwing a bunch of autozone parts on it. Clean and stock is better than riced to hell. Good luck with the car.

Damn! Good deal, don't cut wires for sleepy eyes though, just turn the knobs on the motors during the day for sleepy eyes.
