6 skylines get seized (4 at the same time as they were Kaizo cars), one story gets on the internet because the guy owned a website, and now everyone's an expert


-also they get auctioned as export only, not crushed...why would they pay to have the tires, gas tank, and battery removed then the a/c charge reclaimed, then have it all recycled properly when then can make the tax money (which is what this is all about) they're looking for back selling it at auction?

^^^^ dont know who told you only 6 got seized buddy. lets see i have 2 friends whos car got seized, paul walker got 3 r34s seized and one of the owners of nico club got seized as well. i also went to the court hearing with my buddy whos car was seized and there were 132 cases being viewed just that day and they were not just kaizo cars either as some were from motor-x. also you are partly correct with the auction. in ca the engines/trans are pulled from the cars prior to auction, and they sell for very cheap. none the less nice car looks good, not 50 state legal without a bond release though.

Same with skylines i own a r32 as well i live in FL ive dailyed mine for 2 years now never have i ever had problem EVER! All they reqire is insurance and registration my fl title has my 11 digit vin my car is fully insured for 16k through all state... So people that got there cars here and "suposibly" got them "registered" is most likely lien because if it is theres no way a regular sheriff/police officer can confiscate your vehicle theres no legitament reason to take it cuz its registered and insured which is all the state of FL requires!....

So dont go by people that claim there shit was legit cuz the reason it got took is because they didnt have there paperwork done right.... I got all my paper work for mine!... Obviously its not "federally" legal because r32 n 34 were the only 2 that havent got crashed tested only the 33 can be federally but then again doesnt have to be!...

For example doon buggys they would fail crash test duhhh but there legal on the street right?...

There hasn't been a 'Federally Legal' non-R33 since Motorex closed down. Odds are whoever buys this will never have an issue, just don't be a dickhead and use this thing to plow through a bunch of school children and don't whore pictures of the car out with tags on it.

This is a typical SKYLINE FS/FT issue. The issue has become OLD. A person on the forum is selling a car. Its is listed as what it is. There was a recent issue with an R34 on here in WA in which people started bashing the price and people had made comments that were " MODERATED" out.
The guy has a car for sale. BUT... of course, People are bashing it for what it is and its percieved issues behind it. The guy has a car for sale. People are bashing the price, legality and so forth. If it was cleaned up for one member, it should be cleaded up for all the members. Its only fair.. Right? Every time an r32 r33 or r34 comes up for sale, sopmeone has something negative to say to lower the price, or bash the owner or make it a shade tree attorney speculation about legalities.
The Cars For sale section of the forum is to actually list a car for sale, not to bash the hell out of it.

Like every Skyline FS thread that has been on here in the last year or so, there is some wanna be, broke ass, dreammer fanboy that would love this car or anther, but cannot either afford to buy it for what it is, risk the price, trys to trade some hunk of shit Hella GEIGH wheels half ass fender winde hunk of crap, or sc300 for a hard to get item. Its always entertained and allowed. If you guys cleaned up one FS thread, then clean up the rest.

The bottom line is this. This is the sellers for sale for trade tread.

Don't even try man haha, I made the mistake of giving people a heads up in another skyline thread and got bashed for it. Some cars are titled/registered, some with bond paperwork, some without, and even some that have the bond release never got the work done. Doesn't matter though, to each his own when it comes to owning one of these cars. You are right, odds are they will probably be fine.

you are right man! I think a big reason why people hate so much is because the do business with 240's now. They buy cheap and sell expensive. So that love for the car itself is gone because of these "business men".:picardfp:
