My car idles at 2 grand which is really high and when I pull in the clutch it goes higher then when I let the clutch out it goes back to 2 grand. Anyone know what this could be?

try disconnecting the tps and adjust your idle with the screw on the idle air controlver valve.

I would clean the IACV first.

If it's an sr then I would buy a new iacv so that it comes with the metal adjusting screw. Rubber maid screw will wear out making it impossible to adjust.

First fix all your mechanical problems, then move on to electrical components.
