Ok here's the deal I have a s13 black top with arp head studs cometic hg stock bottom 850cc injectors Isis v2 exhaust manifold with a Garrett gt2871r and apexi power fc the car only made 269 whp and 240 torque I have seen other people on forums that get more out of there set up thats similar to mine . I need help as to why my results are so low? Any help would be appreciated

How much boost were you running

14lbs I also have 3" dump pipe and full 3" exhaust

Upload your dyno graph.
Also, who tuned it, what were the intake temps and what dyno.

You were running really low boost. These turbos wake up at higher boost.
Couple things,
Your confusing......
Your running a 3" dump pipe on an internally gated turbo?
What housings do you have on your turbo? If you have the small compressor housing and small turbine housing, well you cant expect much.
And that cell phone pic of the dyno graph dont tell us much because all of the important info is cut off.

I'm running the gt2871r .64 I'll take a better pic

Is the compression on the engine good? Everything in proper working order?
Double check the timing. If the tuner made a timing error it will destroy HP

Yeah man i just had a my friend go in for a tune Tuesday morning stock internals top and bottom, only thing he has on it is jgy fuel rail, injector dynamics 1000cc, greddy intake, but he is using a .86 2871r on hsk mani and tanabe exhaust and made 360whp and 300trq @18psi!

first observations:
1. between 4k and 5k rpm the boost seems to be spiking up. Did it start at 12psi and work its way to 15psi?
2. If the boost is not spiking then your engine's volumetric efficiency is rising between 4 and 5,000 rpm,
So I ask now, what camshafts are inside the engine?
My final observation is this:
You came here asking why your engine at 15psi is making less power than those at 18psi? well an additional 3psi from that turbocharger is worth at least 20 horsepower with oem cams, and if you should be using OEM camshafts thats about the extent of the airflow you are going to get up top without more boost.
You see how the graph peaks at 5k and begins to gradually dip off therafter? An sr20det with the right valvetrain timing would not do that, at that boost level, with that turbocharger. It should be practically flat, not so peaky around peak torque. Again, inform us of the camshafts utilized, and understand that to "tap" turbocharger for its airflow potential has nothing to do with boost level specifically, but rather, the overall flow capability of the engine and the maximum flow capacity of the compressor overall.
I'll be in miami in a few days and I tune power FC all day long, if you want me to take a look at it.

I have stock cams and would like you to take a look at it when you get here just would like to understand why I'm at that power level with these mods also did a compression check n it's 150 on all cylinders

I just noticed something major. I didnt think rpms made it on the screen but i can see the lower right hight limit on rpms. YOU DIDNT EVEN REV TO 6500RPM!
You ecpect to make decent power on a sr without revving past 7? You were still building power, just because tq dropps does not mean to end the pull.

you have another 1000rpm to go. Judging by how the HP was climbing it probably woulda hit 300. Still a little low if you ask me.

Ok cool like I said just would like to hear other opinions the car feels great I intend to get s3 cams or bc stage 2 and hopefully find a good power FC tuner to get it in the 400 range thanks for all of your input

high 300 can be attained but if you really want the 400 range you should consider a larger turbo.

With oem camshafts it will not perform like everybody else's since the camshafts are the most important aspect of taking advantage of the full volumetric efficiency that engine has to offer.
I think the power level is fine considering the boost and oem camshafts. I bet the timing is too advanced, but besides that it looks like its running good. Ill be in miami tomorrow, pm me for phone

I made great power with stock cams.
In my opinion, overlap and small turbos are counter productive

Unless you have an open downpipe. Then everybody is wayyy too scared to run you to find out its missing 30 horses.
