I think I have all the tools to change the fuel pump
I got a OEM pump for $140 CAD
anyone have any advice?? Should I do it myself or no??
is it very dangerous?

DIY, just make sure you dont mix up the return line and the line to the fuel rail.

well.....
it seems like everyone is very comfortable with this...
that or you all want me to get blowed up!!
anyhow...are there any precautions, i know dont smoke, unplug the battery, etc
but other than that....
as well the top of the tank where this piece is looks heavily rusted, like real bad. Will this be a problem?

No problem at all, just get a steel hammer and chip away at the rust happily until something happens

Never done it to a S13........or an import for that matter,I've done it on a 93 Mercury Sable wagon(terrible,terrible shitbox) and my last car,a 1971 Chevelle,wich was easy...the only thing on the merc was that I had to depressurize the fuel system before I ripped out the gas tank...Should be easy enough though !
mite want to drain the gas tank cause once you get it open..your gonna feel a bit light headed:doh:
