Motor - s14 blacktop

Car - Zenki Se

Problem - Turn the key to start the car and car doesn't start. Electric fans turn on, all electrical components turn on, when I turn the key over the car doesn't turn over and the electrical components briefly turn off and then back on. All I hear is a clicking sound from the starter relay switch by the fuses. I hook the battery up to a battery charger for a bit, nothing works.

Ive checked:

fuses
grounds
relays
battery

I am pretty sure it is the starter, but wanna get a second opinion before I go take it out.

Thanks for any help

Try jumping the starter manually. Can you pop the clutch to get the car running?

no, 1st check your ignition, if not, try checking your ground.

I've been having the same issue for 2 years and using my remote start to start the car. I'm on my third starter now. I've not have time to chase the problem. I heard Nissan ignition could lead to this problem.

Hope you can find this out.

Btw, I'm using Mishimoto starter. They offer lifetime warranty, definitely nothing can't beat it!

Clean your battery posts then tighten them down good. Check all your connections between starter and battery, Alot of times it's just a loose connection that seems like it would be tight enough. Try jumping your starter with jumper cables if it cranks your starter is fine its just not getting the amperage needed to crank it

was it the brushes? because i thought mine was bad before and the connection between the solenoid and the starter motor was all corroded, cleaned it up and it works great
