Feel free to move to a better thread...
Saw this today and was just wondering, do you guys think this is worth $14,000? I personally dont think it is...i mean its clean and all but I feel 14k is a bit too much? I mean its not official silvia or anything either... comments?

Worth (If he is honest) probably 7k
What he will realistically get 10-12k if he waits long enough... Good job on him for putting it up before christmas... I'm sure there is quite a few spoiled rich kids asking their parents for it so they can roll up to their highschool like paul walker next semester.

I do, and i agree that it is not worth 14k, but my brother(who showed it to me) was telling me that it is definitely worth 14k and we had a small argument about it lol...just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything...like i said, it doesnt matter what you do to it it is still an 89 coupe.

Not worth that at all..
Go buy a cheap coupe with a blown motor.. you're from Florida so it shouldn't be hard to find.
Take the blown motor apart, learn how to work on the car then put a nice fresh motor in and build it for half the cost.
Plus you get the experience of learning how to work and build your car.

$14,000 for a 1989 Nissan? It better have all its un-boltable components replaced with high end stuff......oh wait, it doesnt........

really? i didn't think they were hard to find down south.
I figured Florida and CA were hot spots for 240's..
Try finding one up here in NJ :)
even more difficult, and if you do find one... have fun cutting and welding out the rust that has developed over 20 years.
even better, finding weird pictures of the previous owner in the glove box lol

Actually hes right, there are mostly hatchies here in florida 92 to 95 and its hard to find a clean one, most are pretty beat up and the seller wants like the price of gold for it.

i would stay away from that car, suspension is one thing you never buy from megan, and those look like godspeed coils, plus he has a carpet on his dash, so that means it is probably cracked to shit. and this guy seems to be on crack to want that much, and no one wants a car a crackhead built

NO S-chassis is worth over $10k, sorry. Even with every nut & bolt replaced with genuine OEM pieces. Dumbass kids.
But I guess given with the piles of shit for sale around here for $2-3k, a 240SX in even nominal condition is highly valed -__-

Anyone remember the days where people would look at similarly appointed cars for sale as a means to gauge what the one they were looking at was worth?
Can we PLEASE go back to that instead of defaulting to the "start a new thread"?
