So I'm having a problem with my sr20det, when the Rpms hit over 5k my car seems like its not getting enough fuel so it sputters like if something is holding it back, I'm thinking it might not being gettin enough fuel I current don't have a fpr gauge so idk whats it reading.. I want to try to adjust it but idk how to adjust the nismo fpr I know it had a screw but don't know what direction to move it so it can get move fuel..

Help?!

So you installed an adjustable FPR with no way to monitor what your adjusting?

getting a fuel pressure gauge should be at the top of your to do list...

then start to trouble shoot any problems you have....

Car came with a Sr and never had a gauge, I checked for vaccum leaks and boost leaks and nothing
So I'm gonna get a gauge soon

I assume your trying to say that you just bought the car, it already had a Nismo FPR installed, and it sputters...

regardless, if you have the nismo fpr, you need a gauge to reference your fuel pressure

Yes, you need a gauge to adjust fuel pressure! Also, do you know if the car has been tuned? If you don't know then you have to set it to stock fuel pressure. Operating temp, Idle, vacuum line capped, 43.6psi IIRC. Your symptoms can also be caused by too much fuel FYI.

No I did not just buy the car I had the car for almost a year.. And it just suddenly started doing that about a month ago.. And. It hasn't been tuned but I will be doing a tune sometime soon

so then why are you thinking its not getting enough fuel? the wideband should tell you if it is or not

My car has air fuel rtio gauge..
I've made a post about this before

You say the car is not tuned, but you have a FC Commander?

something's not adding up here...

Also... AFR's at idle should be 14.7, not 11.9...

Honestly, i think if i were to try to help you, we still wouldnt be on the same page. Both vids are worthless. Show us the wideband during the pull.......

Yea it hasn't been tuned in a while and yea I do have a fc commander
And I don't really know how to work that..

Ok I'll be sure to make a video of that when I can and post it..
And the afr always stays at 11.9 idk why it use to run good till the sputtering started

Since you said that does that mean my car isn't giving enough fuel or ????

Its a test to show ability to learn, or what can be taught to you, also a joke! I have bad taste sorry l. You need to learn how the stuff in your car works or noone can help you. Your wideband for instace. 11.9 is rich at idle and is bad. idling at 1500rpm + not good. You could have all sorts of problems going on and you're not really helping

Ok, dont take this offensivly, but I can tell you dont have a great understanding of how your engine works, what it needs, how to adjust things ect. You have allot of learning to do if you plan to have a car like this and your current problem isnt going to wait on you to learn whats going on. I highly doubt your problem is the fpr.

What you need to do is take your car to a reputable tuning shop and have this issue (or all if your issues) sorted out and have them dyno tune your car. If you dont do this your going to be rebuilding your current engine on top of having to do all i mentioned earlier.

Also, quit letting it go high into the rpms, dont drive it hard, actually drive something else if you can. Your going to wash out your rings.
