i need help please! i have a stock ka24e with intake and exhaust,
i got the car a few months ago and i have done a tune up since (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oils, coolant, timing, air filter). so my problem, i get about 12.5 MPG!! i cant find any vacc leaks and i just put in a new O2 sen. it runs good and i know its not my foot cuz i cant get 200 miles to a tank running on the highway with cruise on! :-/ i need your help! im lost:picardfp:

How much fuel are you sending in? Get a FPR gauge, stock is 35-36psi warmed up.I've seen people install aftermarket FPR without having a gauge, and when I've let them borrow mine, the idiots had the FPR set to 55psi, that's a waste of gas lol

I have the stock FPR, iv been wanting to test it but not sure how
On this motor, do I have the put a T in the line? I can't find any
Shrader valves to check it at.. ?

haha, my sohc had the same issue. i never cared to look into it tho. dohc will be done in the spring so no worries for me.

You said you adjusted the timing, what did you do with it? Are the plugs fouling out? You put new ones in, if you have the old ones take both sets and check them out side by side. See if the colors changed, that might give you a bigger clue as to what's going on.

I just set the timing it was off when I got it, didn't do chain or tensioners or nothing, I think I mite still have my plugs I'll have to look at them
