I just bought a '90 S13 and the driver's window is basically "off track." it's loose in the door and can be pulled up and down. at the moment i have wood wedged in the window to stop the window from falling down. Someone said it could be the regulator?
Thank for the help... If you would like, please text me at 916 533 6973, as i'm not always on the pc. Thanks!

yes its 99% the regulator. take off the door panel an you will most likely see the cable all undone off the regulator wheel. just pick up a new regulator. it comes with every thing you need. an its pretty easy to change.

considering thats the only thing wrong with the s13..... and it has 479k miles on it..

just and FYI you can try to fix the snapped cable( i think theres a write up on it on 240sxforums using bike brake cables) buying a new motor won't resolve your problems. you have to buy the whole unit...

Just buy the regulator with no motor, unscrew the the motor from the old regulator and screw it on the new one, remember, take the glass out before trying to pull out the regulator, easy as pie, if you lived near Chicago I would help ya out.
