So I just got my sr tuned and the other night I would start to get into boost and the car would breakup and go super rich as if it was blowing out spark but it did this at almost no boost. I was low on gas and filled up to and a half tank(not thinking this would fix the problem but just because I was low) and it stopped. The next morning I took it out still with a half tank and it did it again, I put 5 bucks in to see if it would stop again and it did. Also when the car was breaking up it would idle really lean but when the car wasnt breaking up and it went to idle it would be normal. I feel like the gas fillup is coincidental and it could possibly be a fuel pressure/voltage problem? Any ideas?

take your fuel pump out and see how much fuel is really in there. also check to see if anything is clogged and if the fuel level thing is still good

I will but it was getting starved of fuel i dont think it would go super rich. I thought the same thing too. I'll check it though

Replaced spark plugs lately?
I can almost guarantee you 100% that spark blowout isn't your problem. Sr's have a great ignition system for its age and won't suffer from sparkblowout til about 500hp +. I can prove its good to 400whp myself
.read my sig.
Start looking elsewhere, possibly a bad fuel pressure regulator, faulty harness/wiring etc

Brand new plugs were put in when it was tuned 12/9. My tuner said he thinks it's a fuel pressure problem or maybe somethin with the voltage. I'm gonna look into it next week since in out of town. I'm just trying to get ideas now

Check vacuum lines are correct or cracked

How would I go about trouble shooting?

Sounds like a typical loose coupler/hose vacuum leak. Rich at boost, lean at idle, fuel level was anecdotal.

i had this same problem, not saying that it will solve yours but might give it a shot...i say its your spark plugs as well, what are they gaped to?

Check your fuel pump with volt meter by the blue plug in trunk and see if your getting good voltage/ground, Mine did same shit and I finally traced to the oem fuel pump wiring to be doing all sorts of dumb shit so I wired in a new system and never had another issue.

it seems that it runs good right after you fill up. i would check the gas cap. it might not be venting properly. i`ve seen a gas tank collapse because of the vacuum that got created in the tank.

Im running a different motor but it sounds to me like spark plug gap, my car would pull hard in first gear and then just break up in 2 3 4 and 5 my plugs were suppost to be gapped at 23 and they were gapped at like 30 and that is what was causing my issues.

Well they put the plugs in when I got it tuned so I'm assumin they're gapped right. I'll check them but idt it's blow out since it'll happen at 2-3 psi sometimes. I'm gonna check all that stuff when I get back home
