i got a 96 240sx automatic. so the shifting has been a little rough lately and decided to change the tranny filter and oil. simple task right. well now it shifts smoother but when i come to a stop and take off it takes a while to take off (engagement of transmission) like if i put it in neutral and then put it on drive. any ideas what the issue is??
i used this oil

I figured out the problem with your automatic. It's an automatic.
Make sure your tps is working and plugged in. Also make sure that other plug is plugged in. I forgot what it's called, but someone else will chime in. It's on the right side of the engine bay I think.

hu, thats what that plug does, is there really no DOWNSIDE to unplugging the pressure control? is it really there just to make it "Luxurious"? free mod

It's harder on the trans. I don't remember what part though.
Also I was telling him to make sure it's plugged in, although I seriously doubt it's the problem.
I don't know the viscosity you're supposed to run, but I see people talking about 75-85w gl4. Your oil doesn't list the rating on that page you posted. Just wait for someone more knowledgeable to answer.
