sort of a noob question but where is the egi and egi pump relays located? I think this may be my problem. Also my car will only start up for 2-5 seconds and then die so if anyone has any other advise that would be appreciated.

thats better thanks, ok did you switch the setting to z32 in the PFC, also the z32 may be wired wrong, maybe not because of you, or maybe yes.....but on one harness i wired up a z32 maf, i opened up the harness about 5-12 inches down from the maf clip , the colors were switched around, like if someone extended the wires and didnt bother to color code them correctly .:picardfp:

EX:from ECU in order was 1white,2black ,3brown, then someone crimped on 1black 2white 3brown(im not using the exact colors lol)
if your using the z32 maf on stock ecu, it wont start, ecu if programmed for stock maf.
let us know if you forgot to switch to z32 setting. hopefully thats all you need!!!!

no i have switched the setting on the pfc, i checked a few diagrams to wire up the maf, but some diagrams could be wrong. Also, if it was the maf it would start and run just wouldnt rev but mine will rev up to between 1500 and 2000 then instantly die, the tach never stops just up then down. Also when the car is running for the two or three seconds it makes no difference if i press on the throttle it acts the same as if i didnt ie it doesnt revv up. The car literally is on from 2-5 seconds then kills. Also i've tried using a base map that enthalpy has on their website which is supposed to be a little better than the stock base map but neither work.
