I just installed a prosport digital boost gauge and took the car out and only got 5 boost max and at idle it stays about 22-23 vacuum. Is this normal for this gauge. I thought 7psi was stock. I kind of thinking the gauge might be 2psi off? Thanks, Kyle

I wouldn't put it past the gauges to be off, but do you have a boost cotnroller on the car? turn it a little to see if the boost gauge goes up.
We had prosports on a car once, never again. Were off by nearly 3 psi underboost.

I forgot to put I teed the gauge line into the fpr vacuum line if that would make a differance.

I dont have a boost controller yet. Arent these gauges supposed to be pretty accurate? Just wondering if the size of the vacuun line to the boost gauge could make a differance? The line the gauge came with was to short so i used a slightly bigger vacuum line (same size as whats used for the bov and wastegate) and the line the gauge came with was the size of the fpr vacuum line.

Does the gauge read in bar? .48-.49 bar is about 7psi

No the gauge reads psi. Would the size of the vacuum line change the reading at all?

The size of the line shouldn't affect your reading enough to throw off the gauge. Do you know somebody who will lend you their boost gauge? Try putting another one in to see if it reads the same as the prosport.

Ok thanks for the anwser, I might just have to go buy a cheap boost gauge and see what that reads.
