Nah it has the sensor and everything. You put this thing like up in your grill/bumper area facing forward and a couple wires run into the car to the rectangle thing. Its pretty nifty, was an option for E30's I believe.

I dont have it I would recommend just getting one from a KA pump in a yard somewhere they are endless. Im using one from a 2JZ atm just because it was here when I needed it.
