Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=S14+coilover+review)

I have Fortune Auto 500 series on my S14 and don't have any complaints. Fortune Auto has great customer service, and you can have the coilovers rebuilt in the US.

We are currently running Powered by max competition coilovers on our shop s14's, and our sponsored driver is using the Stance GR+ Coilovers on his S13. We love both of the setups!

We have also had a lot of luck with HSD (Driftworks) coilovers as well, quite robust designs and great drifting heritage.

Do some research befor you go buy coilovers don't rely what other say. This type of topic been cover over a million times, and just to let you know if you didn't already your gonna have to get adjustable rods to lower your car.

Good point, coilovers seem to be like favorite places to eat. Everyone seems to enjoy their own. Check out the information provided online for various reviews, or builds comparing different brands.

But then again, we can always suggest something based on our own experience. :)

used Cuscos

+1, and have them rebuilt. Better than most other coilovers since cusco has engineers. Look into used KW's or make your own koni/gc set up on the cheap.
If you only have 900 wait till you get 1500 and itll open up your options a bit more.

Iv been doing some research on coilovers myself, for me its looking like either Fortune Auto or Stance. Both have good reviews and both will drop you car pretty low. I like how the Fortunes can be ordered to your preferred spring rate, you can upgrade your springs and they are serviced in the states if you were to blow one. I have hks on my 350 and love em, but dont see to many s chassis cars rocking em.

FortuneAuto. I sell many brands but FA has got to be my favorite. We've got 510's for our s14 shop car and have plenty of 500's on other 240 which drift, drag or road race. As mentioned above the spring rates and valving can be customized for you, also with a Swift spring upgrade available for some extra money. They don't just assemble these things and throw them at the market. Check out their website and you can see not only how they are assembled but also their dyno testing.

I actually have used Megans on my NSX, SC430, SC300tt and am about to install some on my 240sx as soon as it gets here from Cali... I also installed a pair on my friends SC300 and another friends IS300. Never had a single problem with any of them. They felt good. I had the LPs on my wife's SC430 (it was cheaper than replacing her factory blown suspension) and it felt great; not too hard). I put the streets on everything else and they feel good, not too bouncy, and they lowered the cars enough for my taste. My friend has had the cheaper EZs on his IS300 for about a year and no complaints. I don't know why everyone knocks Megan coil overs.

...and before any knocks me for being a newb because I only have 12 posts here... I did my first sR swap in the 90s (when 240sx.org was the place to be). since then, mainly in the early 2000s, i've done MANY sr swaps, many coil over installs (of all brands), etc. so I have been around for a while.

If you honestly think Megan's are good coilovers then you've never experienced real coilovers with properly engineered valving. Don't get me wrong though, they're definitely decent and way better than cut springs or lowering springs for that matter..

If your looking for coilovers on a budget, look for a set of used TEIN, CUSCO or KW coilovers.. Other excellent options are Powered By Max, DMAX, DRIFTWORKS, etc..

Have y'all heard anything about BC's? I heard they really good and life time warantee. My friend has a set one his e36 m3 and another one on an sti..Some guy offered me some teins supper drifts for 950 but I'm just scared of them being blown or abused so much that they won't last me long...that's why I'm trying to avoid used for now...

Haha, i like your style except i think the brands you have mentioned are worth more than the average S13 as an entire car. :P

I would also like to add:

Buy cheep buy twice, you would be better off buying lowering springs for the time being and saving for something reputable
Our shop cars reside in Canada, and with 1-2 seasons you can see a brand new set of coilovers begin leaking due to harsh road conditions and sometimes extreme temperature variations (If you winter drive the car).

A comment was made earlier about Cusco's, and I would like to agree! They have amazing R&D, engineering processes, support catalog for any part associated with your coilover, and will re-build them and dyno to spec.

I receive the newsletters, R&D updates, new releases and have the pricing file for them; when it comes to having it covered i have to admit Cusco has gone the extra mile.

Contact me personally if you have anymore questions!

i have a set of tein he on my car, they are the best coilovers ive had. i had god speed on my s14, and they completely sucked. and i had stance gr+ on my z and i hated them too, the spring rates were too low and the valving was weird as fuck
