I'm looking to buy an Aftermarket wheel, it will either be along the lines of a Nardi, MOMO, Personal, NRG. I have a NRG SLIM HUB and a NRG Gen 1.0 QR. I'm about 5'10" Would a deep dish wheel sit way to close with this set-up?? Also I can't decide between Suede or Leather, Any PROS/CONS? Anyone have good pictures? I checked around in the interior thread, but cant rally find any good comparison pictures.

I have an s13 w/ NRG short hub, 2.5 QR, and 330mm NRG wheel (leather). It sits relatively close when I had stock seats, just got buckets so I'll repost in here once I get them mounted. It wasn't uncomfortable, you just have to get use to reaching for the blinker if you are DD'ing the car.
If you DD the car, don't get suede unless you wear gloves all the time or have a leather wheel for the daily commute. It's all personal preference as to what you like.

Suede deteriorates and gets shitty from the oils on your hands--stick with leather if you don't intend on wearing gloves while driving.

Ah I see, that I was unaware of, yes it is a DD, S14 seats, I dont mind reaching for the turn signals so much. I love the style of the deep dish wheels, I would like to find one thats about a 1" deep with the same 3 spoke design though. Was thinking of going with a Personal Grinta style or a MOMO Tuner style. Anyone have pictures of either of these wheels installed?

Is this wheel legit? I messaged the seller, and he claims they are 100% real.

I <3 my Personal wheels, just feels so natural to have your hands on the 10 and 2 oclock position. I'm on my 2nd wheel in 8 yrs.
I dont think a deep corn would be too bad. I'm running a 20mm spacer on mine and I like how close it is to me. But like you said, the whole reaching for the turn signal thing is the catch 22.

grip royal.
Someone I know bought one of these. The finish and quality left a lot to be desired for the price.

I just bought a grip royal, seems great to me especially for the $110 it cost. It doesn't flex like the shitty fake nardi that was in the car when I bought it. Where the paint on the wheel meets the spokes isn't as good as I would have liked but its not that big of a deal.

Hmm Grip Royal haven't heard of lol. Hows the quality of MOMO these days? Ther'es the MOMO Tuner wheel, but I don't know how it would look in the s13. Also I'm not a big fan of the center ring around the horn button, I more or so like the flush screw heads.

Also like this, and the price is great, but I'm worried it may be a knock-off =\

You're worried about knock offs, but yet you spoke of buying an NRG wheel. In my eyes, that is no better.
Also, if you are worried about getting a knock off, stop looking at ebay. IIRC I paid about $250 for my Personal Grinta, and all their prices are about that. If you see a wheel that is half the price of what they normally cost, that should be a bit of a red flag. Nardi is the same, if not a little more.
