is there a spring that we can upgrade to for these pump?

has anyone tried a 1mm washer?

just curious to know since id like to add a oil cooler and maybe/maybe not a oil relocation
that will drop my pressure over 20% at least

if yall could give me any info would be cool
thx guys:drama:

i would imagine that they would have replacemnt parts instead of spending that kind of money

No clue, not a whole lot of folks mods their pumps. Most mod I'm seen is folks would use the guts out of a GTi-R.

I've personally run an oil filter relocation with conjunction with a Greddy Oil cooler, my pressure was good both at idle and high RPM.

There is no need for these motors to upgrade the pumps. People run upwards of 700rwhp with stock pumps...

ok thank you guys for your input
once i get my motor back from the shop and into the car in the next month...ill hook my cooler up and see for myself if there is a difference
i wasnt sure if i could run the cooler and relocation together

i have modified mine but not use a spring just shims from other pumps, check motoiq.com they have a nice explanation on what to do and what not to do
and yes you can buy the internal parts of the oil pump itself as opposed to buying a hole new front cover with it...
