My car has been running into stalling issues lately. It first began only when it was wet outside and the car would not start. I first thought vacuum leak, so I changed the PCV valve, intake manifold gasket, and checked for other leaks. While I was at it, I did a basic tune-up (plugs, wires, dist cap/rotor). It has been running great since then, but now its come back only this time in dry weather. :faint:
The car has also gotten a new battery, and a new fuel pump in the last 2500 miles.
Stalling...
While driving the engine will suddenly shut off and I'll coast along until the car comes to a stop. It seems like an electrical problem of some sort. The funny thing is, no CEL at all once the car comes to a stop. But, when the engine is dead/shut off, if I throw the trans into neutral (auto) the CEL, Battery, and Oil lights all go on.
Any diagnostic advice would be helpful. I'm suspecting some sort of sensor issue (crank, cam, map sensor, etc) but not sure where to start. Thanks in advance everyone! :wiggle:
