Not sure if this is the place to post it, so mods feel free to move it.
Just got back to my car today at 12:30pm on 12/6/11 to find my car like this :(. Thule roof rack and wheels were stolen.
Car was parked on La Jolla Village Dr. in San Diego since 7pm. Went to school (UCSD) overnight to study for finals and came back to find it on blocks. Super disappointed since these were my first and only wheels, even if they were not really very special. Posting around with the glimmer of hope they may turn up.
The wheels were XXR 962’s in gunmetal, seen below. They have a pretty limited market because of their size and bolt pattern- 18x9.5 +35 all around in 4x114.3. As far as I know, without pretty good modification the only car they’re really going to fit on correctly are 240’s. They had 3 Achilles tires in 215/40/18 and one had a Falken 452, same size. I imagine they won’t have them on anymore, but the center caps I made myself so they are one off’s.
Can’t imagine I’ll be finding my roof rack, but one thing that stood out about it was that it had the old style Thule fairing in pretty much new condition that not many people have anymore. Had 2 bike racks on it.
If you have any information or see them anywhere, please contact me. My phone number is (31zero)49zero-8zero1eight.
Thank you for your time!
